About the Artist and his work

LUIZ WOODS, was born in Brazil and is a US resident,
He is a multi-talented fine artist, designer and inventor.
He did work for art studios, important US corporations
and design companies, like Milprint, J.C Penney, Lippin-
cott & Margulies and Raymond Loewy, He has designed
and produced art furniture and furnishings for renowned
nterior designers, architects and stores, in the US as well
as in Brazil. He has his work exhibited in individual shows
at art galleries and art stores in New York City,,Washing-
ton, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro.

Since a few years ago, Luiz Woods began exploring the
computer as an art tool. Due to his wide experience and
creativity, he produced a vast collection with over 3.000
graphic works -in a variety of styles. Their subject is well
suited for modern spaces -for offices, homes, hotels, etc.
They are still in a virtual state and can be printed, painted
or built in any size or shape on canvas, paper, metal or
plastic. Luiz Woods has also created an interesting colle-
ction of geometric models for monumental sculptures.
They are based on the tetrahedron. They can be built in
metal, glass, composite materials and concrete.
